Reeds: Oboe vs. English Horn?

I was just wondering, do oboes and English Horns use the same size reeds? One of my friends says that they take different reeds, but it seems to me like it would be a hassle to keep both reeds wet if switching back and forth between the two instruments during a concert. So to me, it would make sense if they both use the same reed.
