Anybody have recommendations for inspiring memoirs?

I just read Belo Cipriani's Blind: A Memoir ( http://blindamemoir.com ), and it was really touching. Belo was attacked and blinded by his friends for being gay, and he's made tragedy into happiness in his current life. Very inspirational, and I'm looking to read something equally as touching. Any recommendations?
